Flagship Craft Beers

Falcon Punch /American IPA

Award Winning

Falcon Punch is our flagship IPA. It’s a classic American IPA which is a style that helped define the love Americans, and the world, have for IPA. While the beer will be slightly bitter and have a strong hop presence, it is also very well balanced with high quality NYS base malt and carapils for body. It finishes dry which enhances the bright NYS Cascade and Centennial used in the boil. Of course this beer can’t be complete without a hefty amount of Falconer’s Flight in the dry hop bringing out wonderful floral and citrus notes.

Glen Ale / NYS Light Ale

Finger Lakes Distilling reached out to us to collaborate with them to recreate a beer that was made in the 1930s in Watkins Glen. It is a simple recipe of malted corn and 2 row from our friends at Murmuration Malts in Bloomfield. Glen Ale is super drinkable and refreshing with a touch of sweetness from the malted corn. It finishes light and crisp with an abv of only 4%.

Milk Milk / Milk Stout

Milk Milk is another staple beer in the Lucky Hare family of styles. A milk stout is a very dark beer that uses Lactose(Milk Sugar) to bring a smoother mouthfeel, fuller body, and more balance. Lactose Sugar is unfermentable so there is also a perceived sweetness that adds to the overall complexity. Combined with several different malts, spanning the range of colors, the flavors in this beer meld together into a wonderfully easy to drink stout. Not for Vegans or those who are Lactose Intolerant.

London Gentleman / Extra Special Bitter

ABV

Our take on a classic style that receives little representation in the craft beer world. Light in body, our Extra Special Bitter has a nose of biscuity sweetness and toasted pecans. London Gentleman finishes with a well balanced bitterness from local Willamette hops and a hint of sweetness. Super smooth and easy going like a London Gentleman should be.

Seasonal Craft Beers

Ryes Up / NYS Organic Rye Pale Ale

We were approached by the Main Street Market in Trumansburg, NY to make a beer for them using Organic malts from farms very close to us. Most of the ingredients in this beer are grown within 50 miles of the brewery. We wanted to showcase the delicate complexity you can get from high quality ingredients right from our back door and a well balanced Rye Pale Ale seemed perfect for us and the folks at Main St Market. The wonderful rye spiciness is complemented by the floral notes of the Centennial hops we use late in the boil and in the dry hop. The balance and mouthfeel creates a well rounded flavor reminiscent of eating fresh rye bread and herbs. Hey! My Ryes are UP here!

Vibe Brighter / Hoppy Belgian Style Blonde Ale

Vibe Brighter is a beer we made for the Brite Vibes Festival in Cooperstown, New York. It’s a Belgian Style Blonde Ale that we lightly dry hopped with the Pink Boots Blend of hops. It’s lemony and light and refreshing with a slight hop aroma that contributes to the overall crisp character of the beer.

Brotato / Hazy IPA

ABV

Our favorite hazy offering. Brotato's grain bill includes loads of flaked oats to create a creamy mouthfeel. Hopped twice during the brewing process and double dry hopped with El Dorado and Idaho 7 during fermentation. All of this hopping creates an incredible aroma smelling of fresh cut pineapple, citrus and pine. Because if it is hazy, you know it's good.

Kold Standard / German Style Kolsch

ABV

Kold Standard is inspired by the amazing beer brewed in Cologne, Germany. A straw-yellow hue with a long lasting head, our take on a classic has a light biscuity bread sweetness with just enough bittering hops to balance it out. There is a slight fruit ester quality from the top fermenting yeast to make this a well-rounded and delicious beer.

Lil' Red / Raspberry Sour

ABV
4.6%

Lil' Red is our raspberry kettle sour ale that is a summertime favorite here in the Finger Lakes. The wort is kettle soured for up to 48 hours to reach the perfect amount of tartness and then is fruited in both the brewing and fermentation process. Lil' Red has bright raspberry aromatics with a fresh fruity flavor and tart finish. This is a thirst quencher while grilling outside or sitting by the lake.

Blonde Moment / American Blonde Aged on Coffee

ABV

We attempted to make blonde ale interesting by aging it on locally roasted coffee. The base of the beer is a clean fermented blonde ale with a touch of honey malt for sweetness. The finished beer is then aged cold on freshly roasted and coarse ground coffee until it picks up the perfect amount of coffee flavor and aroma. Our most requested beer that we never make enough of.

Live Action / SMaSH IPA

ABV
6.0%

SMaSH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop which means that this beer was made with one kind of Malt(Pilsner) and one kind of Hop(Mosaic). Beers like this are a perfect example of complexity through simplicity. The Pilsner Malt has a very light and grainy flavor that balances well with the intense mango and grapefruit flavors and aromas from the Mosaic Hops. Intense dry hopping adds to the punchy aroma that keeps you wanting more. The Kolsch yeast gives it an added fruitiness along with a crisp, dry finish.

Slick Rick Drip / Fresh Hop Ale

ABV

A Fresh Hop Beer is one that uses hops that have been just harvested before they go into a drier and pelletizer. The hops we used in this beer were picked right off the bine directly from Pedersen Farms in Seneca Castle. The grain was also from the same farm and malted from Murmuration Malts in Bloomfield to create an incredibly refreshing and light ale that exemplifies the green grass-like flavors that come from fresh ingredients in NYS.

I Am the Liquor / Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout

ABV

I Am The Liquor is most likely going to be the biggest beer that we make. The name is a Trailer Park Boys reference. I Am The Liquor is the famous line that Jim Lahey says. Certainly worth watching the YouTube video. The mash tun is filled to the brim with grain and we boil the wort for twice as long as most of the beers that we make. The flavors are big in this beer. Strong notes of chocolate, roasty-burnt grain, dark fruit, vanilla, and slight alcohol on the nose. The finish is mildly sweet with some bitterness to balance out the variety of flavors. As the beer warms up in your hands you will find some flavors stand out more than others. We also age this beer using barrels from Finger Lakes Distilling. Definitely a sipper!

Millennial Falcon / Double IPA

ABV

Falcon Punch x2. A simple grain bill carries a heavy dose of Simcoe and Amarillo hops. Big aromas of Pine, herbs and citrus, this Double IPA is hopped all the way through the brewing and fermentation process. Just enough sweetness balances out our favorite IPA we make.

Part-Time Model / N.E. IPA

When you’re drinking this beer on the street, depending on the street, it's’ definitely in the top three. This NEIPA is made with a very popular New Zealand hop called Motueka (MAH-TOO-EH-KAH). Bright citrus and peach aromas lead into the smooth and creamy flavors from the oats and wheat.

Cezanne / Belgian style Saison

ABV
5.5 %

Cezanne is our first Belgian Style offering. It was conceived as a simple and refreshing Belgian Style Saison. Our goal is to showcase the complex aromatics and flavors of the expressive Belgian yeast strain while complementing the beer with bitter orange peel. With a simple grain bill with a slight touch of maltiness, the notes of black peppercorn, clove and moderate fruitiness stand out. Because the beer is light and delicate we can add special ingredients like Szechuan peppercorn, fruit, or herbs to it to totally change the beer. It is great year round and is a perfect offering to a new customer experiencing craft beer for the first time.

Die Fledermaus / Belgian Style Saison

ABV
7.5%
IBUs

“Die Fledermaus” is a beer that we made to try to encapture Dano and his style of cooking. It was named by his wife Karen and was his favorite Viennese operetta. It is German for “The Bat”. We handpicked Linden Flowers from Dano’s property, zested 6 pounds of lemons, and ground 6.5 oz Tellicherry Peppercorns to be added in the boil. This has the classic aromas of a Belgian Style beer (clove, black peppercorn along with some floral notes from the flowers and a touch of lemon citrus). This beer has enough body to carry the higher alcohol content while still being very drinkable. The finish is slightly peppery from the Tellicherry Peppercorns
