Wild Hare Peche / Foeder Aged Sour Ale on Peaches

This Second beer in our Wild Hare Series, which will be a line of “Mixed-Fermentation Sour Beers,” is a “Peche.'' It was fermented and aged in our Foeder, which is basically a very large barrel, for about a year. We then added 500 lbs of NYS peaches, which aged for another 6 months. It has a complex acidity from the mixed culture of bacteria and yeast with a well balanced peach character. It is dry, crisp, refreshing, and endlessly complex.

Glen Ale / NYS Light Ale

Finger Lakes Distilling reached out to us to collaborate with them to recreate a beer that was made in the 1930s in Watkins Glen. It is a simple recipe of malted corn and 2 row from our friends at Murmuration Malts in Bloomfield. Glen Ale is super drinkable and refreshing with a touch of sweetness from the malted corn. It finishes light and crisp with an abv of only 4%.

Boats & Sabros / NEIPA

Oh you know… another NEIPA. This time we used a relatively new hop from the Pacific Northwest called Sabro that we found to be intriguing. Extreme amounts of pineapple and passionfruit in the aroma entices the drinker to taste the smooth peachy flavors that go well with the oats and wheat. Drink with friends in the sun!
